Hello and welcome to my website!

I’m Emese (pronounced Ema-sheh), also known as Emi for simplicity. Let me share a bit about my background and the journey that led me to the world of professional organizing.

I was born in the picturesque region of Transylvania, where I grew up learning Hungarian as my native language. At the age of nine, my family and I relocated to Vienna, Austria. After successfully completing my primary education, I continued my studies in Vienna, earning a degree in Textile Technical Machine Engineering.

In 1996, I embarked on a transformative journey, by relocating to the United States and establishing my presence in the vibrant metropolis of New York City.

A Decorative Painting Career

Before founding EG Organizing, LLC, I dedicated 22 years of my career to a decorative painting company. My roles included assistant, artist, purchasing agent, studio organizer, studio manager, and team leader.

My wide-ranging responsibilities extended from crafting proposals to overseeing a diverse array of projects, focused on installing faux-finishes in both commercial and residential settings. One of the most prominent commercial projects I had the privilege to lead my team through, was the painting and faux-finishing phase of the US Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, MD. It's worth noting that my efforts on this project were recognized with a safety award from the USNA.

Interacting with professionals such as designers, architects, contractors, vendors, clients and their staff worldwide, refined my communication skills.

Furthermore, they've equipped me with the skill to not only understand but also proactively address and meet clients' desires and requirements, thereby fostering and maintaining positive and enduring client-business relationships. These experiences honed my organizational abilities and prepared me for the challenges of a dynamic business environment.

International Ventures

My career path took me not only to different states within the United States, but also to numerous countries worldwide. Collaborating with clients in multiple European countries, as well as Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, various Caribbean islands, Panama, and Puerto Rico broadened my perspective and enriched my professional toolkit.

Understanding the chaos life can bring, especially when clutter and disorganization take over, inspired my transition to professional organizing. Leveraging my skills, I aim to create order, eliminate obstacles, and bring a sense of calm back into your life.

Transition to Professional Organizing

Today, I proudly hold the title of a Certified Professional Organizer. My love for keeping things neat and tidy has been a lifelong passion. Whether reorganizing living spaces, managing work areas on different projects, or maximizing time efficiency, my knack for arranging things led me to my true calling.
